Patty specializes in genealogy and Onarga history, often compiling columns for the newspaper. Patty is also the Onarga Village Clerk, assistant secretary of the Onarga Lions Club, and secretary for the Onarga Historical Society and the Onarga Chamber of Commerce.As you can see, she keeps busy. Katie Miller: Office Assistant
Katie assists the LTL in all administrative office functions including ad design,
general typing assignments and marketing. Katie is a 2002 graduate of Iroquois West High School where she participated in 4-H, volleyball and softball. Her parents are Michael and Anne Miller of Gilman. According to Katie, she pretty much grew up on her grandparents Ron and Kris Ritzma's farm west of Gilman. Another grandparent, Janet Miller, was a long time cafeteria worker at IWES.Katie is also employed at the Gilman Healthcare Center. While two jobs would be enough for most, Katie also tends to the needs of her five-year-old son, Dylan. Email Katie.

Tina Schoolman: Marketing Director
"I was born in California, raised in Watseka and married into Gilman." That is how Tina Schoolman worded it when I asked for some brief biographical information. The daughter of Maxine Holliman, Tina has the responsibility of marketing the Lone Tree Leader and developing new territories. Now residing in Crescent City, Tina is the mother of Aaron an aspiring rodeo rider and Alec, who was the Prince of the 2000 Old Boys and Old Girls Reunion. Email Tina.

Derek Crouse: Sports Writer
Derek currently resides outside Crescent City, but calls LeRable his second home. He has a childlike passion and enthusiasm for sports and he finds it fascinating how sports coincide with culture and society.
Derek graduated in 2001 from Crescent-Iroquois high School. Currently, he is seeking a degree in Communications from Governors State University.
